Brett Banbrook

Remedial Therapist

Dip. Health Sciences Therapeutic Massage (NZCM)

“As a child I spent hours watching my Nan administer Maori medicine including massage to the people in and around the Poverty Bay. She would often have us massage her feet to relieve her aches. As an adult I have set out in hopes of following her example. I see massage therapy as the oldest and most natural form of physical rehabilitation, with safe caring touch being inherent with a nurturing mind-set.

I have graduated the New Zealand College of Massage with a Dip. Health Sciences Therapeutic Massage and a Cert. Relaxation Massage. I have a range of massage experience, including work with the Wellington Phoenix Football club, Wellington Hospital Neo Natal Clinic, and the St. John of God Hauora Trust. Using Remedial, Relaxation, Sport massage, and Myofascial release techniques, my goal is to touch base with clients and to contour sessions to their mind set as much as their physical needs. With a focus on prevention of on-going stress and injuries rather than often costly rehabilitation.”
