TREATMENTS

Remedial Massage

$90

Remedial/Therapeutic Massage Therapy is defined as the mobilization of soft tissue (such as muscle, fascia and body fluids) to restore normal systemic and bio-mechanical/functional use. A combination of Swedish Massage, deep tissue and trigger point therapy can be used to assist in the treatment. Therapeutic Massage Therapy results in improved circulatory, lymphatic and neurological functioning.

This treatment is designed to treat areas of pain/tension or discomfort. May take more  than one treatment. Not a full body experience.

Trigger Point Therapy

$90

Trigger Point Therapy is specifically designed to alleviate the source of the pain through cycles of isolated pressure and release. In this type of massage for Trigger Point Therapy, the recipient actively participates through deep breathing as well as identifying the exact location and intensity of the discomfort. The therapist will communicate with the clients condition with a tension scale. This helps the therapist know when the trigger spot has released.

This treatment is designed to treat areas of pain/tension or discomfort. May take more  than one treatment. Not a full body experience.

Deep Tissue Massage

$90

Deep Tissue Massage involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). It's used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

This treatment is designed to treat areas of pain/tension or discomfort. May take more  than one treatment. Not a full body experience.

Sports Massage (Pre/Post Event )

$90

Pre and Post Event Sports Massage is specifically designed to help an athlete perform at their best and recover as quickly and effectively as possible after their event. Pre event massage can be carried out anytime from two days to immediately before an event. Post event massage should be done as soon as possible after the event.

This treatment is designed to treat specific areas of the body

Myofascial Release

$90

Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. This essential “time element” has to do with the viscous flow and the piezoelectric phenomenon: a low load (gentle pressure) applied slowly will allow a viscoelastic medium (fascia) to elongate.

This treatment is designed to treat areas of pain/tension or discomfort. May take more  than one treatment.  Not a full body experience.

Hot Stone Massage

$85

A Hot Stone Massage is a type of massage therapy. It’s used to help you relax and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout your body.
During a hot stone massage, smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of your body, they are then  used to massage tension spots. The stones are usually made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat.

Relaxation Massage

$80

Swedish Massage involves hands-on techniques such as Effleurage and Petrissage to increase circulation, reduce stress, relieve anxiety, improve sleep, and promote relaxation throughout the entire body. While relaxation massage is wonderful for you, it is less effective than the deeper styles for changing soft tissue tension. We normally recommend deeper styles when you are suffering pain and leave relaxation for when you just want to ... relax!
